tonight Pradeepan and I went on our first double date with a Korean couple. We had a blast! I asked Hun, the boyfriend of the couple if he has a pet name in Korean that he calls his girlfriend or vise versa. I explained to him that I call Pradeepan “honey” all the time when I talk to him.
Hun taught me the word, “chogeena” – which is basically the pet name for honey in Korean.
I’m going to try to replace my usual “honey” with chogeena now. It’s a hard habit to break but it would be cool!
